After Hours
We offer both weekly and no-commitment, drop-in classes. All classes are 18+, with emphasis placed on self acceptance and expression above all else.
Surge After Hours is all about empowerment and community. We believe our chance to dance shouldn't end when we reach adulthood. Whether you've danced your whole life, or this is your first time in a studio, there is a place for you here!
Classes
These 1-hour long classes will occur once a week for a six-week session, with each class building on the skills learned during the class prior.
Sign-ups for these classes will include commitment to a six-week session. We offer a variety of styles for six-week sessions, such as ballet, tap, hip hop, heels, and more!

Weekly Sessions
No-commitment drop-in classes will be available in many styles, including jazz, hip-hop, heels, contemporary, and more.
These classes allow dancers to try different styles and challenge themselves in a low-stakes environment.

Drop-Ins
Beginner : For those who are new to dance or who are looking to get back to basics.
Intermediate : For those with moderate experience, looking for a challenge.
Advanced: For experienced dancers wanting to utilize their training and continue developing their artistry.
Class Levels
Dress Code
Dancers are expected to dress in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing and class-appropriate footwear, which should be clean and carried in. Street shoes are not to be worn on the dance floors at any time.
Dancers are encouraged to wear clothing that represents and expresses their own style and personality, while maintaining a level of propriety suitable for a family-friendly and community-oriented dance environment
Clothing with offensive or inappropriate designs or stamps are not allowed, nor is overly revealing or suggestive clothing. Dancers may be asked to change or adjust clothing, or leave class due to dress code violations, at the discretion of the instructor and studio management.
