Questions and Answers

Do I need previous experience?

Nope! We have beginner-friendly options for both youth and adult classes, in addition to intermediate and advanced options.

Can I watch my child's class?

With the exception of My Grown-up & Me offerings, classes are closed to parents and guardians. Occasionally, teachers will reserve time at the end of class and invite guardians in to see what the students have been working on.

Are any performance opportunities required?

Youth classes will culminate in performance opportunities at the end of each semester. Adults will have the option for performances, but they are not required.

What do I need to bring to dance classes?

All dancers should bring water and appropriate footwear for the class, i.e. ballet shoes, sneakers for hiphop, jazz shoes, heels, etc. If you are a beginner, classes can be taken barefoot or in socks or sneakers for the first class(es).

How many students are in each dance class?

Youth classes will be capped at 12-15 students depending on the age level (with the exception of larger group dances taught by multiple instructors). Adult classes will not exceed 20-25 people, depending on the type of class being taught.

When are classes, and how long are they?

The youth class schedule can be found under "classes" and will be set at the beginning of each semester. Adult weekly classes and drop in classes can be found on the calendar under "After Hours". All classes are typically an hour.

How much is tuition?

For youth tuition prices, see "Pricing & Policies"

For adult class prices, see "After Hours"

Are there any additional fees?

Youth classes will require an annual registration fee, as well as a costume fee for each class. Any other costs will be announced with advance notice and transparency, and will only be applied if absolutely necessary.
