Conduct

​

Everyone who enters our studio is expected to remain courteous toward all staff, as well as other dancers and their families. We value acceptance and kindness. Anything less will not be tolerated. 

Pricing

Registration

Surge will be hosting registration drop-ins before each semester, but please feel free to reach out at any time during the semester to discuss class options. Our registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registering. Once a family is registered, it is required that a parent or guardian join our email listserv for important updates and information about our studio and events.

Registration Fee : $25 per student or $35 per family

Tuition Payments

Tuition is based on a per semester rate. Families have the option of paying tuition in full at registration or through monthly installments online, or via cash or check at the studio. Monthly installments will be due on the 15th of each month. Late payments will be subject to a $20 late fee.  After multiple late or missing payments, students will not be able to participate in class.  Dancers are encouraged to take as many classes as they wish. The maximum monthly installment/tuition price is capped at the price of 3 classes / respective semester.*

*Max tuition does not include private lessons, solos, duets, trios, competition and otherwise specified classes.

Tuition Pricing

Tuition is paid in monthly installments according to the number of hours a dancer is registered for weekly. Unless otherwise specified, tuition will be priced as follows:

$240 / month | $960 / semester

(Jan. - June)

Policies

Class Cancellations

Class cancellations will be announced via email,  as well as on our Instagram page and our website. Classes may be rescheduled to a later date. Regardless of rescheduling, tuition payments will not be reduced due to cancellations. 

Holiday closing information will be posted in advance.

Attire and Hair

Hair must be securely pulled back away from face. If bangs get in your way, they must be clipped back for class.​

With the exception of ballet classes, students may wear a leotard and tights or other forms of athletic clothing that allow them to move properly. Shoes for each class will be specified at registration.  

Ballet Class Attire

For ballet, students must wear  leotard, tights, and ballet shoes, all in pink or black only. Pink or black ballet skirts optional. Hair must be in a bun or otherwise pulled back off of the dancer's face and neck. Alternatively, dancers may wear black athletic shorts, a black or white t-shirt, and ballet shoes.
